WEEK 2 So Exciting……
(0)This was one of the most exciting days of 8 year All Nations Tournament, most of the games being very close running into the 3rd set. The Austrialia v Africa game was definately one not to be missed; USA women found their form after a poor first weekend and now lead division 2 and are looking very strong. Austrialia men gave their all to beat Africa, but this left them too tired when they came to face a determined and very together Great Britain team. The 3 way tie in the top mens pool sets us up for a fantastic final day heading into the Knockout stages.
The womens Div 1 is headed by undefeated Cz/Slovak, who have stamped their mark on the tournament. The last time that we had a Cz/Slovak womens team in the tournament in 2010 they went on to win the title. Can they do it again? This year they have Meds, Baltics Hungary and reigning chamions Italy 1with only one loss in the chasing pack.
There are no guarantees today except fun and exciting Volleyball. Who are you supporting?

Week 1 - A SUCCESS
(0)The first weekend of the 2012 All Nations is over and after 2 full days of excellent Volleyball Africa and New Zealand lead the mens table, both undefeated. last years champions Italy are mid table (6th) beehind Australia, UK and GB.
The Womens competition is led by undefeated Czeck/Slovak with the chasing crew coming from Hungary, Meds and The Baltics.
Next weekends schedules will be posted tomorrow. Players get some rest and prepare for another great weekend of Volleyball.

I know most of you can’t wait for the tournament to begin, each year we try to go bigger and better with great success, with this in mind the birdcage that we all know and love has new owners and have told us that we can’t have our normal gathering there this year so in light of that we have hired out a new venue,
The party for both Saturday nights with be at Brick Lounge 212 Brick lane E1 just round the corner, with free entry to everyone from all-nations, £1 off your first three drinks ANY DRINK. Special Guest Dj’s that are taking request before hand and at the venue (please send your songs to allanmungroo@googlemail.com)

3 DAYS TO GO
(0)With only 3 days to go to the start of our biggest All Nations Volleyball Tournament, London venues are being booked for last minute training sessions. France, Africa, Europe, UK, Australia; who will win the 2012 All Nations?
The Venue is still Bethnal Green Academy Gosset St London E2 and the action starts at 9am and final serve of the day at 9pm.
There will be FREE entry for spectators between before 11am and after 7pm on 12,13 and 19th May. Between 11am and 7pm there will be a £2 charge for spectators.
With a record number of teams and players there will be 42 matches per day for 3 days and another 30 on the final day.
